Terms of Service
As a member of AllThingsParents.com (hereinafter referred to as ATP), you are required to review and agree to the following Terms of Service (hereinafter referred to as TOS).
Membership at ATP is free. Guests of our forums are able to view the posts, but are unable to reply or create topics themselves. Our members are given access to our private messaging system as well. ATP reserves the right to suspend, block and/or terminate any member's account who has repeatedly failed to abide by our TOS. We also reserve the right to edit, close, move and delete any posts that violate our TOS. ALL MEMBERS WILL AGREE TO THE FOLLOWING: CHANGED TERMS We may, on occassion, change the rules that govern your use of the ATP website. ATP shall have the right at any time, without providing individual notice, to change, modify, add or delete any terms or conditions that apply to your use of the ATP website ("Changed Terms"). The Changed Terms shall be effective immediately upon notice thereof, which may be given by any means including, but not limited to posting the Changed Terms on the ATP website, or by electronic or conventional mail, or by any other means which adequately provide notice thereof. Any use of the ATP website by yourself after such notice shall be deemed to constitute acceptance by you of the Changed Terms. ELIGIBILITY OF MEMBERSHIP The services offered on the ATP website are only available to persons who can form legally binding contracts under applicable law. By way of example, persons under 18 years of age are not eligible to use the ATP forums or the services offered thereon. WE WILL NOT TOLERATE ANY... 1. Vulgar language, derogatory comments made towards race or religious beliefs, and illegal material. Attempts made to disguise vulgar wording by replacing letters with symbols is also unacceptable. Posts containing any of the aforementioned will be edited and/or removed. 2. Personal attacks on, or harassing of other members through posts or private messages. We encourage our members to express their opinions in a civil, adult manner. Name calling, profanity, and harassment are not acceptable. 3. Posts that contain pornographic or illicit material will be removed, and the posting member may have their membership revoked. 4. Soliciting members on ATP to join other communities that are not a part of the ATP community. These types of posts will be removed. Members are, however, encouraged to post links to informative and/or educational sites. 5. Posting fraudulent information or misrepresenting yourself, and trolling (posting controversial posts in an online community, with the intention of baiting members into an argumentative response or debate). Both of the aforementioned are grounds for having your membership revoked. 6. Insulting the Administration and Moderation Teams of ATP. Members posting, private messaging and emailing offensive language or material in regards to the Admin/Mod Teams will have their accounts permanently banned from ATP. 7. Members will not be allowed to make posts, private messages and put links or graphics in their signature that contain spam, solicitations for money, charitable causes, products, surveys for research or journalism, or copyrighted materials. Businesses cannot be advertised through the above means without prior permission from the Administrative Team. LAWFUL PURPOSE You shall use the ATP forums for lawful purposes only. You shall not post or transmit through the ATP forums any material that violates or infringes in any way upon the rights of others, that is unlawful, threatening, abusive, defamatory, invasive of privacy or publicity rights, vulgar, obscene, profane, that constitutes hate speech intended to insult any race, ethnicity, religion, sexual orientation, or national origin, or is otherwise objectionable, or that assists or encourages conduct that would constitute a criminal offense, gives rise to civil liability or otherwise violates any law, or that contains any computer viruses or computer programs that are intended to damage, detrimentally interfere with, or surreptitiously intercept or expropriate the ATP website, or any other system data or information. Any conduct by you that, in ATP's sole discretion and determination, restricts or inhibits any other member from enjoying the ATP website will not be permitted. You shall not use the ATP forums to advertise or perform any commercial solicitation, including, but not limited to, the solicitation of members of ATP to become subscribers/members of other services. ATP retains the right to remove any and all postings on the ATP forums at its sole discretion and determination. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY Unless otherwise noted, all materials, including images, illustrations, text, designs, icons, photographs, software, video clips, and written and other materials that are part of the AllThingsParents Site (collectively, the "Content"), along with any copyright, trademark, service mark, patent, trade dress and/or other proprietary or intellectual property rights in the AllThingsParents Site and the Content, are owned by ATP, licensed to ATP or used with permission of their respective owners. It is unlawful to reproduce any material from this website for public use without permission from the owners of this site. You agree not to post or distribute any information which infringes on a third party’s copyright or other proprietary rights on this site. LINKS TO OTHER MATERIALS AND SERVICES The ATP website may contain links to third-party web sites, services or resources. ATP does not control the availability and content of these third-party sites. Any concerns regarding any such web site, service or resource, or any link thereto, should be directed to the particular third-party service or resource that provides the content. The existence of a link to a third-party site does not constitute an endorsement or recommendation by ATP of the third party or the third-party's site. ATP DISCLAIMS ALL LIABILITY FOR ANY LOSS OR DAMAGES ARISING FROM THE CONTENT OF OR PROVISION OF SERVICES BY ANY THIRD-PARTY SERVICE OR RESOURCE. We may or may not remove the offending party from our site at our discretion. Violation of any law or regulation, these terms and conditions, proprietary or privacy rights, or contracts formed with you through this site will result in an immediate termination of membership from AllThingsParents.com. ATP PRIVACY STATEMENT ATP recognizes and respects the privacy of each visitor to the ATP website. This Privacy Policy explains ATP’s treatment of your personally identifiable information collected in connection with your activities on or related to all ATP sites referencing this Privacy Policy. We believe in giving you full disclosure about the kinds of information we gather and what we do with it, and in giving you a choice about the use of your personal information. Personally Identifiable Information If you choose to share any personally identifiable information with us, we may store it and use it for marketing research and other marketing purposes, which may include sharing it with other companies in the ATP family and our business partners. No individual will be singled out. Registering at AllThingsParents.com requires you to input your email address and create a username. Members cannot hold ATP liable for any information, advice or statements made on our forums.
