Need support

Hi girls

I'm feeling a bit nervous lately about having a natural labor I try not to "worry" about it b/c I know that worry and fear will be my biggest obstacle, but it's so hard to not be nervous.... I am only 1/2 way through so I keep telling myself to not get to worked up about it just yet, but it's been hard.... I've been watching a lot of labor videos and shows about labor and delivery and it makes me nervous.... it seems like most of the women who attempt a natural labor end up getting meds b/c they can't handle it anymore but the ones that have the natural labor seem to have a harder time but then they seem so much "better" afterward

I was induced with Grace using cervadil and I had a pretty easy labor.... I had a lot of back labor b/c she was in the posterior position but I never remember the pain being so awful that I felt like I was going to die I finally got my epidural at 7cm and I only got it at that point b/c I was afraid of what was to come and not b/c I was already in intense pain... but b/c I got the epi at 7cm, I did not get to experience transition and so I'm worried about that stage of labor.... PLUS, I know that every labor is different and just b/c my labor was not bad with Grace, doesn't mean it's going to be that way this time

So, anyway, I suppose I'm just looking for support and encouragement from you ladies

Thank you

Natural Hospital births...

I think this was discussed before (and maybe I was the one who posed the question but I can't remember ) but I was curious who here had a natural hospital birth attended by either an OBGYN or midwife? What was your experience like? What was your hospital staff like? Supportive of your decision or any attempt to "push" medications/interventions upon you? Please share

I will be delivering this baby at the hospital with my OBGYN, whom I LOVE, but was just curious what it was like for everyone else

Thanks!
